Job Description:
Position Summary:
--- Participate in key development activities in GWBARS team of our GTS Data Technology platform
--- Hands-on design and ETL development in Data Warehouse environment.
--- Work on multiple projects concurrently, take ownership & pride in the work done by them, attending project meetings, understanding requirements, designing solutions, developing code.
--- Partnering with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment, coordinating with other support teams like L2, development, testing, up/down stream partners, etc.,
--- Work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements work on high level & detailed design to address the real time issues in production.
--- Work with Information Architecture team for proposing technical solutions to business problems
--- Identify gaps in technology and propose viable solutions
--- Take accountability of the technical deliveries from offshore
--- Solid Understand of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling concepts.
--- Work with the development teams and QA during the post code development phase
--- Identify improvement areas within the application and work with the respective teams to implement the same
--- Ensuring adherence to defined process & quality standards, best practices, high quality levels in all deliverables
--- Adhere to teams governing principles and policies

Primary Skill: Oracle Exadata
Secondary Skill: UNIX/SHELL SCRIPTS
Tertiary Skill: Autosys

Required Skills:
--- Total Experience as Developer 15+ year
--- Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence
--- Ability to design the system with little direction or guidance.
--- Excellent analytical and logical skills
--- Self-starter with thought leadership
--- Ability to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions.
--- Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Data Warehousing, Dimensional Data Modeling
--- Ability to multitask and work independently.
--- Expert Knowledge in Oracle/Exadata
--- Expert Knowledge Oracle SQL/PLSQL
--- ETL Processing concepts
- Experience in handing large data volume and Performance Tuning.

Desired Skills:
--- Good understanding of the E2E process of the application
--- Good understanding of all aspects of the application like upstream, database model, data processing and data distribution layers
--- Payments or Banking background
--- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment.
--- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software.
--- Development Life Cycle
--- Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting and Autosys

What top 3 skillsets does this person need to have?
--- Oracle database SQL,

Job Description:
Analyze, design, develop, enhance and support applications that integrate with existing business components utilizing established processes, frameworks, and technologies. Develop and support existing and new project requirements, including coordinating with business to understand requirements, and analyzing potential impact of implementing change requests. Perform tasks to comprehensively analyze application and process issues, including problem identification, communication and coordination with customer-facing support teams. Regularly communicate work progress with management, identifying issues early and resolving them quickly to avoid or minimize impact to projects.
Ability to learn business processes, and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks. Good in software development using SAS, Teradata and Unix scripting Good knowledge of the banking products, operational process and end-to-end transaction flow Able to gather and interpret data requirements, research and analysis, business design, data mapping, develop data sourcing and transaction monitoring solutions Excellent organization and team skills Fast learner, work under minimal supervision Able to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business and leadership
Experience in Python, Spark and Hadoop will be an advantage
Knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering domain will be an advantage

Hourly Pay Rate Range*: Between $62.00/hr - $65.00/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
