Founded in 1978, ATS employs over 7,000 people at more than 65 manufacturing facilities and over 85 offices in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Oceania.JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Manager, SALT is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of U.S. state and local tax and strategy for the organization across multiple jurisdictions in the United States. This role involves overseeing the preparation and filing of various state and local tax returns, handling audits, conducting tax research, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing advice and guidance on state and local tax matters to internal stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage the preparation, review, and filing of state and local corporate income and franchise tax returns.
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision for the relevant legal US and foreign entities.
• Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation and regulations in various jurisdictions.
• Conduct and manage income and indirect tax audits and notices.
• Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to address complex tax issues.
• Plan and execute tax projects requiring a wide scope of expertise.
• Manage and oversee the preparation, review, and filing of sales and use tax returns.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of state and local taxes.
• Research state and local tax issues.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support for customer-related state tax issues.QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
  • A university degree in finance or accounting and/or a professional accounting designation is preferred.Experience:
    • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in corporate tax.
    • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
