Job Description:
Overview
Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our
team. This rewarding role involves planning and delivering
radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician
directives.
Key Responsibilities
--- Treat patients with ionizing radiation while adhering to
regulatory guidelines.
--- Monitor equipment parameters, document malfunctions, and
understand emergency procedures.
--- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment schedules.
--- Input treatment and simulation charge information into
Aria.
--- Document patient treatment charts and communicate with patients
and families.
--- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
Educational Requirements
A graduate of an AMA-approved school of Therapeutic Radiology or
international equivalent is required. ARRT registration or
eligibility is mandatory, with a passing score on the registry exam
within the first 90 days of employment.
