Posted Friday, January 31, 2025 at 5:00 AMAs the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the fiscal health of our organization. You will oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and reporting. Your insights will be invaluable in guiding executive decision-making and fostering sustainable growth.In This Role You Will:

• Lead the finance team in managing all day-to-day financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Develop robust financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and provide strategic recommendations to the VP, Finance and CFO based on financial analysis and projections
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
• Support relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
• Support M&A activities and integration processes as neededCore Competencies for Success:

  • Technological Proficiency: Be adept with emerging technologies, financial software and data analytics tools, such as Salesforce, Looker, Tagetik and Intacct. Leverage digital transformation trends to improve financial processes.Credentials and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a management role.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
    • Experience in a private equity environment and familiarity with project-based work.
    • Legal right to work in the United States.This role is designed to be hybrid in Charlotte, NC.
