A Plus Automotive Multi-Unit Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC Area
Multi-Unit Manager to be our frontline team captain by managing multiple SpeeDee/Grease Monkey's quick lube/automotive repair service centers. Responsibilities


  • Ensure all locations open on time and remain open until scheduled to close, staffed appropriately for the business.
  • Collect and review KPIs on an ongoing daily basis to confirm we are pacing to hit goals.
  • Send a brief daily recap email at the conclusion of the day to communicate ongoing challenges, opportunities, and wins.
  • Send agenda for the following week no later than Saturday 7pm to RM.
  • Maintain a high level of positivity and motivation for the team.
  • Hold your team accountable with performance management.
  • Deal with claims, warranties, and customer complaints that exceed $100.
  • Manage employee changes, terminations, transfers, etc.
  • Grow the business by increasing customer count and maintaining current fleet accounts.
  • Conduct interviews and recruit for your market.
  • Manage social media customer feedback and reviews.
  • Verify payroll accuracy every Thursday.
  • Approve all orders staying within budgets.
  • Respond to all emails with detail, professionalism, and positivity.
  • Ensure cross-training and prepare for turnover.
  • Encourage team participation in company incentives and initiatives.
  • Complete all admin tasks by Monday 8am.

    • Work 5 days, 50 hours in stores but engaged and available when needed.
    • Build a team that enjoys and takes pride in their work.
    • Increase sales, control costs, and ensure profitability.
    • Teach, train, coach, and motivate your teams.
    • Provide good direction and delegate effectively.
    • Ensure great customer and employee experience.
    • Work a couple of Saturdays a month.

      • Leadership skills, conflict resolution skills, and listening to learn.
      • Self-motivated to work with little to no supervision.
      • Accepting of responsibility for all things and people in your charge.
      • Strong communication and computer skills (Excel, Word, email, text, Zoom).

        • Ensure a great experience for each employee and customer.
        • Recruit and staff the business for growth while controlling costs.
        • Teach, train, and enforce adherence to processes and procedures.
        • Deliver on KPIs including sales, customer count, payroll cost, and profitability.
        • Ensure employee and customer safety.

          • Facility and equipment repairs and maintenance.
          • Curb appeal.
          • Recruiting.
          • Fleet account management.
          • Online training completion.
