LVI has partnered with a leading structural engineering firm
dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. They
specialize in structural engineering, repair/restoration, adaptive
reuse, historic preservation, and forensic engineering. They have
over 5 offices across the east coast and are looking to continue
growing their Charlotte presence.Job Summary: They are seeking a
highly skilled and experienced Senior PM to join their dynamic
team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing
the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering
projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and
to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception
to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure
adherence to these plans.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other
stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide technical expertise in the design and analysis of
structural systems and components.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and
technical reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and
ensure compliance with design specifications and safety
standards.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and
equipment.
- Ensure projects adhere to company quality control programs and
safety standards.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
- Participate in business development activities, including
preparing proposals and presentations.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's
degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering
project management.
- Proficient in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit,
STAAD).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and
regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational
skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work
effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Benefits:
