CWI Supervisor/CWI Manager

We are seeking an experienced CWI Supervisor/CWI Manager to lead our production team and drive positive change in safety, quality, profitability, inventory turns, on-time delivery, and lead-time. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the daily operations of our fabrication and machining teams, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Overview

As a CWI Supervisor/CWI Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and leading our first shift team, developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be the driving force behind our production team, working closely with our operations manager to achieve our goals and objectives.

  Requirements
  
  
  • 
    
  • 5+ years of experience in the welding industry
    
  • Current CWI certification in an area of expertise
    
  • Familiarity with Lean tools and driving continuous improvement
    
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate reports, forecasts, and communicate results across shifts
    
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, across all functions of the organization
    
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, machining, Plasma cutting, welding, fabrication, team leadership, driving metric-based performance, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement
    
    
    Nice to Have Skills
    
    
    • 
      
    • BS in Engineering or technical discipline
      
    • CWENG certification
      
    • Experience in a supervisory role or with managing people
      
    • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD
      
    • Experience with AWS Certified Welding Engineer program
