CNC Manufacturing Engineer
($110000 - $125000)

We are seeking a -CNC Manufacturing Engineer -with extensive experience in CNC programming and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes for complex parts and assemblies, ensuring the highest quality standards and operational efficiency. You will work closely with various teams, including design, quality, and production, to improve processes, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, scrap, and lead time goals.
  • Develop and refine CNC programs for complex components, selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine settings.
  • Design and implement necessary fixtures and gages for the manufacturing process.
  • Lead efforts to identify and solve production issues using root cause analysis and statistical Lead or participate in lean manufacturing initiatives such as setup reduction, 5S, and process optimization.
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards through effective quality control measures.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring on-time completion within budget.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, timelines, and process improvements.


    Required Skills & Experience:


    • Proficiency with CNC lathes, VMCs, and HMCs; experience with 3D CAM software (Esprit is a plus).
    • Strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to evaluate and optimize manufacturing methods.
    • Experience with ERP systems and design software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Excel, etc.).
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
    • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3+ years in CNC programming and engineering.
    • Experience in high-mix, low-volume production environments is a plus.
