Job Description:

As Senior Digital User Experience Designer (DX) you will support InVue's mission to improve security, operational visibility, and experiences for the world's most valuable brands in retail.Reporting to the Senior Manager-Technical Product Owner, the ideal candidate is a high-drive, independent worker and critical thinker who excels as a team player. They are:

• A self-starter with strong UXD and DX experience
• Proactive in pitching new ideas, backed by well-articulated rationale and research
• Adept at managing their own workload while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at influencing stakeholders and driving user-centric approachesRESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the design process from concept to implementation
• Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and user flows
• Craft exceptional experiences for solutions in access control, asset protection, retail user experience, and operational visibility
• Solve complex design challenges creatively and efficiently
• Assist product, engineering, and testing staff by providing acceptance criteria details for related UI development workQUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years UXD experience with direct responsibility for mobile and web UX development
• Deep understanding of best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
• Hands-on experience using design and rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, or Sketch) to create low/high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and documentation
• Experience working with engineering teams to collaborate on selecting and modifying UI component libraries like React Native Paper (material design) and Mantine
• Experience on agile scrum development teams, supporting product and engineering with artifacts and content needed for software execution
• Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree required, in relevant field (computer science, UXD, graphic/digital/product design, etc.)WE VALUE

• Logical and thorough approach to evaluating issues
• Ability to collaborate effectively in the development of innovative solutions
• Skillful at receiving critical design feedback while informing and influencing stakeholders on UXD paradigms, including those unfamiliar with digital design and software engineering processes
