Title: Software Engineer 3
Position type: Full Time - Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC

As Software Engineer 3, You would:
Design, build, and manage robust and scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes deep expertise in GKE, BigQuery, GCS, Filestore, IAM, and networking.
Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration solutions using GKE. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of containerized applications.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. Automate the provisioning and management of complex cloud environments, including production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
Configure and manage scalable storage solutions on GCP. Optimize performance and cost-effectiveness of Filestore, GCS, and BigQuery for diverse workloads.
Participate in cloud migration projects, including hybrid cloud deployments. Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the migration process.
Contribute to an agile development environment. Follow SDLC routines for code management, deployment, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.


The ideal candidate will have:

Extensive hands-on experience with GCP services. Minimum 5+ years of experience with GKE, BigQuery, GCS, Filestore, IAM, and networking.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration. At least 4+ years of experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters, particularly with GKE.
Proven experience with Terraform. At least 4+ years of experience using Terraform for IaC, including complex cluster provisioning in production environments.
Strong understanding of scalable storage solutions. At least 3+ years of experience configuring and managing GCP Filestore, GCS, and BigQuery.
Experience with cloud migration projects. Including operating in hybrid cloud environments.
Experience working in agile teams. Familiarity with SDLC routines for code management and deployment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $50 to $55 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
