Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to lead the data migration process into Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server, ETL processes, and data migration strategies, ensuring a smooth and accurate transfer of data from legacy systems to D365.



Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute data migration strategies for transitioning data from SQL databases to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and validation throughout the migration process.
Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries to enhance performance during data transfer.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand data structures and business requirements.
Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to support data migration.
Implement error handling, rollback strategies, and data reconciliation mechanisms.
Conduct data cleansing and transformation to ensure compatibility with D365 standards.
Provide post-migration testing, validation, and support to resolve any data-related issues.



Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an SQL DBA with a focus on data migration.
Strong expertise in SQL Server (2016/2019/2022), T-SQL, and SSIS.
Hands-on experience with data migration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, KingswaySoft, or similar ETL tools).
Proficiency in database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 data structures.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in enterprise environments.
Ability to troubleshoot migration failures, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure a seamless transition.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
