Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to support a data migration initiative
following the acquisition of a new waste management company. This role will focus on
extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from the acquired company's systems into
D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) system. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years
of experience in ETL development, a strong understanding of data migration best practices, and
familiarity with multiple ETL methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
--- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to migrate data from legacy systems
into D365.
--- Extract data from various sources, transform it to align with data model,
and load it efficiently into the target system.
--- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy throughout the migration process.
--- Work closely with business analysts, database administrators, and D365 functional teams
to define data mapping and transformation rules.
--- Optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
--- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and
loading.
--- Develop automated workflows and scheduling for ETL jobs using appropriate tools.
--- Document ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings for future reference.
--- Follow industry best practices and compliance requirements for data handling and
migration.

Required Qualifications:
--- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in ETL development and data migration.
--- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and data migration strategies.
--- Strong expertise in SQL, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), Azure Data
Factory, or other ETL tools.
--- Familiarity with various ETL methodologies, including batch processing, real-time
integration, and data replication.
--- Proven experience in data mapping, cleansing, and transformation.
--- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
--- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
--- Excellent communication skills to work with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
--- Experience with Power BI, Azure Synapse, or other cloud-based data solutions.
--- Knowledge of waste management industry data structures and systems.
--- Previous experience in acquisition-based data migrations
