• Certification Details
• License Required: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
• Certs Required (only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLS, NRP
• Certs Preferred: STABLE
  • Job Details
  • Position / Specialty: Nursery RN ***12 Weeks***
  • Shift: Will accept 3x12s or 4x12s-6:45p-7:15a, Holiday rotation
  • Ratios: 1:3
  • Weekend REQ: Every other weekend as needed
  • On-call REQ: Yes, 2 on-call shifts every 6 weeks for those working 3x12s
  • Traveler will need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities
  • As the nursery RN, will catch and transition babies in L&D within the 1st 2-3 hours of life
  • Expected to float to Mom-Baby where they could take a newborn assignment
  • Years of experience Preferred: 2+ years' experience with level 2 babies (premature deliveries, 32 weeks and above)
  • First-timers accepted: NO
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of experience with routine newborn care
    • Ability to attend deliveries and resuscitate infants at delivery
    • Ability to transition infants after delivery
    • Experience with level 2 Nursery
    • Needs to have experience in resuscitate newborn at delivery and stabilize premature newborn for transfer to higher level of care
    • Experience Preferred: Mother-Baby
      • Schedule Information
      • Open to block scheduling: Requires managers approval upon request, dependent on unit's needs
      • Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
        • Unit Specific Information
        • As the Nursery RN, they will be expected to catch and transition babies in L&D within the 1st 2-3 hours of life
        • Will also be expected to float to Mom-Baby where they could take a newborn assignment
        • Mom-Baby/Couplet Care preferred
          • Additional Details
          • Open to accommodating block schedule based on unit's needs
          • Local Radius: 60 miles
          • Locals Accepted: Yes, at 10% less than the posted rate
          • RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission
          • Approval based on facility needs
