Job Description:

Martello Re Services Company LLC is seeking an Actuary to develop best-in-class capabilities across Modeling, Risk/Asset and liability management (ALM), Data Analytics and Reinsurance/Underwriting.

Standardize, streamline, and automate processes to minimize production work and maximize analytical work.

Lead production of standardized monthly projections for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Economic Balance Sheet/Bermuda Solvency and Capital Requirement (BSCR), Liquidity Risk, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Embedded Value/Valuation and Economic Capital/Stress Testing.

Own build-out of in-force and pricing modeling (e.g., Prophet) with scalable cloud-based solution.

Lead and/or support build-out of strong controls framework.

Lead and/or support proactive management of current and projected capital positions.

Lead and/or support the reinsurance pricing efforts across Multi-Year Guarantee Annuity (MYGA), Fixed Index Annuity (FIA), Fixed Index Annuity Guaranteed Lifetime Withdrawal Benefit (FIA GLWB), Pension risk transfer (PRT), Registered Index-Linked Annuity (RILA), Funding Agreements, Universal Life (UL)/ Indexed Universal Life (IUL) and Whole Life (WL).

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or a related field, and 5 years of experience with actuarial modeling software (e.g., Prophet, MG-ALFA).

Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with US GAAP and/or Bermuda's Economic Balance Sheet (EBS), Embedded Value and Economic Capital frameworks; 5 years of experience with advanced components of Microsoft Excel; 5 years of experience with leading and working on multiple projects across functional topics/area; 5 years of experience with fixed annuity products and asset/liability modeling of fixed annuity business.

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation is required.

Monthly domestic and occasional international travel required.

Telecommuting/remote work is available within the United States.
